InterNorden 21–24 oktober 2026, Färöarna

InterNorden är ett informellt nordiskt nätverk som är öppet för lammproducenter, forskare, rådgivare, veterinärer och andra fårintresserade. Vartannat år sedan 1948 har en konferens med fokus på får och lamm arrangerats i något av medlemsländerna. I år är det Färöarnas tur att stå värd för den 37:e InterNorden-konferensen.

Konferensen pågår den 21–24 oktober 2026. Programmet inleds onsdagen den 21 oktober och avslutas lördagen den 24 oktober. Under konferensen erbjuds föreläsningar, presentationer och studiebesök. Konferensen ger också goda möjligheter att träffa och knyta kontakter med till exempel lammproducenter, forskare, rådgivare, veterinärer och andra fårintresserade från hela Norden samt att utbyta erfarenheter och diskutera aktuella frågor inom fårnäringen.

Búnaðarstovan – Färöarnas jordbruksmyndighet – är huvudarrangör för den 37:e InterNorden-konferensen.

Búnaðarstovan är den statliga myndighet som ansvarar för förvaltningen av arrenden på offentlig mark, tillsyn över forskning och utveckling inom jordbruket, administration av offentliga stöd till lantbrukssektorn samt hantering av olika andra frågor som rör den statliga jordbrukspolitiken.

InterNorden, 21–24 October 2026, Faroe Islands

InterNorden is an informal Nordic network open to sheep producers, researchers, advisers, veterinarians, and others with an interest in sheep farming. Every second year since 1948, a conference focusing on sheep and lamb production has been held in one of the member countries. This year, the Faroe Islands will host the 37th InterNorden Conference.

The conference will take place from 21–24 October 2026. The programme begins on Wednesday, 21 October, and concludes on Saturday, 24 October. It includes lectures, presentations, and technical farm visits. The conference also provides excellent opportunities to meet and network with sheep producers, researchers, advisers, veterinarians, and other sheep enthusiasts from across the Nordic region, exchange experiences, and discuss current issues affecting the sheep industry.

Conference Organiser

Búnaðarstovan – the Agricultural Agency of the Faroe Islands – is the main organiser of the 37th InterNorden Conference.

Búnaðarstovan is the government body responsible for administering public land tenancy, overseeing agricultural research and development, managing public grants for the farming community, and handling various other matters related to government agricultural policy.
